Corte Montini holiday farm is along the ancient Via Emilia, at the foot of green hills trimmed with vineyards, at the center of the Antico Piemonte (Old Piedmont) area that takes the name Oltrepò Pavese. It embodies centuries of history and passion for grapes and wine. It is a historic vineyard company established in 1812. For more than 20 years, it has offered hospitality and authentic flavors to its guests of the holiday farm.
Just kilometers from Milan, in a carefully restored antique farmhouse, two ample and restored dining rooms host the restaurant that presents true ‘Oltrepadana’ culinary tradition in a rustic and elegant atmosphere. It is rich in references to the passion of the Montini family: the territory, the vintage furnishings and the vintage radios, the family collection. And besides the kitchen and the excellent table, there are many options to rest and discover a land rich in art and curiosity. 13 rooms and 5 apartments have been skillfully restored.

The Kitchen

Corte Montini holiday farm puts its organic wines and the most authentic culinary traditions of the region at the heart of its original and straightforward cuisine.
All of the dishes are prepared based on the season. Menus change throughout the year, following the seasons of each ingredient. The cuisine features the numerous products of our farm, as well as those of selected nearby producers. Taking pride of place on the table are the great typical cold cuts of the Oltrepò Pavese area, all of strict artisanal production. They include salame of Varzi, coppa, pancetta and lardo. There are fresh and stuffed pastas, a thousand varieties of risotto, roasts, stews, mushrooms and truffles of our forests. The culinary offering takes you back to your childhood, to those flavors and perfumes that never get boring, and that trace back to their roots.

Rooms

The Conte Montini holiday farm features thirteen rooms and five apartment furnished in refined and rustic style. It lies within a part of the old Isimbarda farm, seat of the winery. The rooms are equipped with every comfort – en-suite bathrooms, wi-fi, satellite tv, telephone and air conditioning. The apartments feature equipped kitchens and wi-fi. The accommodations are served by an ample private parking lot. It is accessible from the Strada Regionale 10 (Local Highway 10, Voghera–Stradella), which is the main east-west route of the Oltrepò Pavese area.

Our wines

Grapes and wine, the work in the vineyards, the passion for the production, the care and attention given to the harvest and crushing, and the experience with in-bottle aging. These are the distinctive traits of more than two hundred years of agriculture and enology in the Oltrepò Pavese area, that are all present in Montini wines. The company was born in 1812. By the early years of the last decade, the choice was made to pursue the path of organic cultivation, which exalts nature and the territory in every glass. All of our wines may be purchased directly in the winery, or tasted and paired with the dishes of our Corte Montini restaurant.
